Skagit Valley Tulips

Headed North this weekend to see the tulips. They were out in full bloom. Nice to see all the colors.

Rexville, Washington?

Played a bit with HDR in the PhotoShop CS6 Beta. Here is a shot on the way back from trying to shoot the Tullips in LaConner. They are not up yet but I got a bunch of dafodils. Looking at my flower shot you would think I shot it at night. It was taken in broad daylight, well at about 7am but enough light to see without any artificial lights. Can you guess why the scene looks like it's nighttime?

If you don't know the story on Flat Stanley it is worth some time to research him. My daughters Flat Stanley as been aroudn the world. Here he is in Portland, Or about the board the train to Tacoma, Wa. He had a lot of fun in Portland the past few days.
