She arrived here today about 4:10. Last year I posted a shot of my late father-in-law on this date. This year I post a new addition to the family Mia is a mix of 2 breeds.

Late night visit to ER

My daughter had a reaction to peanuts tonight. Had to rush her to the ER where we sat for 4 hours. Lucky I had my cell phone/camera or I would have missed my first shot in over 17 months.

Nutrition Challenge

Nutrition Challenge. I am now 10 days into my "EAT right, stay health way of doing things. 17 lbs came off the old body. Caffeine was the tough one to give up but I am feeling so much better. I taught my Photo class tonight with buddy Adam. I took this shot of Stadium HS with my 10-17mm fisheye. Did some de-fishing in photoshop and got the wide angle I was looking for. You see a lot of pictures of this castle but not many at this wide of an angle. The courtyard had about 10 students walking through. It was an easy fix as I took about 10 shots and automated them out. I nice feature inside photoshop. Something you can't do in Lightroom or ACR.

I took the shot of the phone, I added an image of the little girl I took the other day. I then played in the 3D mode in CS5. It is out of this world. I was able to make the iPhone which was a flat 2D image into a 3D image. Cool Beans!!!!

My daughter learned how to blow a bubble and now she can blow up balloons. Such talent at a young age.

The photo walk

My buddy Adam and I took about 25 participants on a photo walk this afternoon. We share what we thought might make a good shot and how to play with DoF, ISO, Shutter speed. I am thinking fun was had by all.
