A river runs through it

OK my hope was the get a shot of the cresting Puyallup River. Here is the best I could do, and boy was it high. For all the rain we got it was a dry day. Our roof leaked and the rain has stopped.

  1. I love cattails. I have really good memories of Dad dipping them in kerosene before standing them outside our snowforts and lighting them for entryway torches. Probably couldn't do that nowdays.

Looks like a day for canoing.

  3. Yeah I was looking at the Skagit River on my drive up to the ferry yesterday, and I wanted to go get some shots of it, but Jiffy Lube took too long so I didn't have time.
