OK my hope was the get a shot of the cresting Puyallup River. Here is the best I could do, and boy was it high. For all the rain we got it was a dry day. Our roof leaked and the rain has stopped.

I love cattails. I have really good memories of Dad dipping them in kerosene before standing them outside our snowforts and lighting them for entryway torches. Probably couldn't do that nowdays.

Weird that you found that website about rivers as I was driving home last night I was thinking of a good place to take a shot of the river...then you email us....very interesting.
ReplyDeleteYeah I was looking at the Skagit River on my drive up to the ferry yesterday, and I wanted to go get some shots of it, but Jiffy Lube took too long so I didn't have time.
